1950s/1960s Taupe skinny necktie with silkscreened farm scenes
€25.00
This greyish-brown tie, in excellent condition, features line drawings of a person driving an antique tractor and a farmer in front of a pot bellied stove. The narrower blade of the tie is signed Countess Mara and the company's insignia is emblazoned at the bottom of the wider blade. Additionally, the back of the wider blade bears the series' name, "Country Folk". Reinforced neck (see pic).
No fiber content label, but the external fabric seems like a silk crepe and the cream lining looks and feels like a finer silk. Good vintage condition aside from a yellow stain and smaller rust-colored mark to front of wider blade.
Measures: 2.5" wide (at widest point); 54" long.
