1960s Brown leather wallet with many labelled POCKETS! Likely made in England. Unused.

€40.00

Lotta little details in this wallet: A snap closure holds the wallet shut; the outermost, front-facing corners have brass bumpers; inside there are long slots labeled in gold “£10, £5, £1”, smaller labeled slots for your “DRIVING LICENCE, INSURANCE CERTIFICATE, CREDIT CARDS, STAMPS” (a little tab to the bottom serves, I believe to assist you in holding open the stamp slot), and there is a small, labeled, detachable pouch for your “SPARE KEYS”, with two little slots to the front to hold the coins that might comprise your “PARKING MONEY” (this detaches with another snap fastener).

The bottom left corner of the wallet is stamped, also in gold, “real leather”.

Partially lined internally.

This bill fold totally reminds me of the children's book "Katy No-Pocket" (see last pic)!

Overall, this wallet is in very good condition for its age, and looks to have never been used. There are no cracks or major dry spots to the leather. There are some faint, light stains to the outer finish and a few dark stains (see pics), but these are not readily noticeable.

Measures approximately: 21cm when open (about 11cm when closed) x 10cm height.
