1960s cream nylon stretch gloves with white, glass, micro seed beads and faux pearls. Empire Made.
Darling white gloves that stretch to envelope the hand, creating an elegant silhouette. Beading is arranged in scallops at wrists and then scattered across the rest of the backs of the gloves. Original plastic slip cover.
Sweet accessory for a bride or for any dress occasion.
Tag to interior of left glove reads “Nylon Stretch. Fits all sizes. Empire Made.”
These gloves come from my sister-in-law’s grandmother's estate—she took good care of her possessions—and are in excellent vintage condition with no missing beads and just a faint stain to one index finger (see pic), hardly worth mentioning.
Marked “Fits All Sizes”, I would class these as a modern Small-Medium. Approximate measurements (flat, unstretched): 8 1/4 long; 2 3/4” wide across palm (will stretch much wider); 3 1/4” wide at cuff.
