2000 sterling silver signed and hallmarked claddagh ring. Made in Ireland.
Sweet little Celtic claddagh ring featuring gloved hands with Celtic knots on the sleeves, holding a crowned heart.
The claddagh symbolises friendship, love, and constancy and can be used to signify that the wearer is single and looking, has pledged their affections, is married or unwed.
Bears hallmarks for Dublin, sterling silver and the year 2000 (see pics). The ring is also signed with maker’s initials, but I can only make out the first two letters “TG…”.
Very good condition with no noted flaws other than some light signs of wear; I have left the original patina, but this ring could be easily polished back to a bright shine by buyer.
Approximately a US size 6.5 - 7 (UK M - N; EU 52.5 - 54 (I don’t have a ring mandrel, so this is a rough guess, going off the diameter as measured with a tap). Measurements: 1.7cm internal diameter, 2.1cm external diameter, 1.1cm high centrepiece.
