1910s antique square brooch with prong-set, clear and amethyst coloured paste stones. Likely Czech.
€0.00
Petite goldtone antique brooch with 4 purple and 8 clear rhinestones. Small lace pins like these pins were used to attach lace at the throat or to hold back long lace cuffs.
The stones, which I believe are glass, appear to be handcut, with irregular facets, and have a Bohemian feel to me, circa 1910s-1920s.
Each stone is set with 8 prongs. C clasp to back.
In very good antique condition with darkening to some of the clear stones, but still plenty of sparkle overall; a small bend to the tip of the pin, but clasp is still in great working order.
Approximate measurements: 18mm x 18mm; weighs 1g.
