Large winter muffler with fringe and hidden, zippered pocket. The addition of the pocket is an unusual one and it makes the perfect spot for stashing a phone, wallet, gloves and/or hat!

Looks to be home made, probably in the 60s; the silvertone, nickel-plated metal Talon zipper is older, probably from the 40s or 50s . The style of the scarf very much reminds me of the winter mufflers worn in the 1920s (see last pic).

Faint musty smell to wool, but no holes or stains detected.

Measures: 8.5” wide x 70” long (inclusive of 2.5” fringes); pocket 8.5” x 13.5”.
