Wool or wool-mix, short-sleeved dress with round neck and loose-pleated skirts and darted bust. Lined sleeves. Metal zipper to centre back (originally painted red, but much of the paint has worn off). Original belt loops are intact, but belt is in poor condition (see pics), although still usable when worn.Arms are lined.

This dress has some other issues, including holes to bodice of dress (probably from old moth activity), a repair to armpit seam (see pic), some seams with broken threads, and a small stain to the skirt (not very noticeable when worn, due to folds); but it is still very wearable as daywear.

A little stretch to fabric. Approximate measurements 23" waist; 28" bust; 10" arm holes; 39" length (back of neck to bottom hem); 82" bottom hem circumference. Belt is 2" wide and will fit 22"-24.5" waist.
