This skirt is a difficult one to date. Although these wrap-around kilts were wildly popular in the 60s/70s, this one's tags look older and the fabric is an unusual cotton/rayon blend that dates it to the 40s or very early 50s.

Flat placard to front, pleated to rear. Leather braces have been hand sewn to waist. In excellent condition, except the bottom hem has been undone and will need to be resewn.

Brand: Lord & Taylor (The Young Peoples Floor). 50% Rayon; 50% Wool.

Labelled a size 10. 24" waist can be adjusted down to 22". Very narrow in the hips.
