Wool or wool-mix top—unlined but very smooth with no itchiness. The stud beads are set with metal prongs at their back and are glass; the teardrop beads are plastic. Double darts to bust. Closes with full-length metal Swift zipper and eye and hook to back.

There is some damage to the front at centre...looks like a thread pull where the fabric caught on something, but the top is still very wearable. A little pilling here and there and a few missing beads (maybe 4-5).

Labels: "A Lesley Fay ORIGINAL"; Union label 095120; Lot 19, Size 10. Union label identifies this top as being made between 1955-1963.

Measures (laying flat): 17.5" bust; 21.5" length; 16.5" bottom hem; 6.5" neck opening (at top); 5.5" arm opening. There is some stretch to the weave, but I would say this top is best suited to a modern size small to medium.
