1990s/2000s Floral, cotton velveteen 60s-style Anthropologie dress with deep POCKETS. MEDIUM. Made in USA.
I bought this dress in Maryland from Anthropologie in the late-90s or early-00s, even though it was too big. Hate to part with it, but it’s just too good to sit in a box.
Soft, all-cotton brown velvet with flower and leaf print in turquoise, rust, tangerine orange, and lime green. Two, generously sized pockets at the sides. Darts to the bust and bodice (back and front). Nylon YKK USA zipper to centre back. Fully lined in brown acetate.
A versatile dress that pairs perfectly with thick tights and a turtleneck for wear in the winter and autumn, and adapts to warmer months when worn alone or with a romantic, white, lace-trimmed shirt.
Condition is mint; I think I wore this dress twice, after which it was carefully stored.
Marked a US Size 10. Approximate measurements: 32”-33” waist; 36” bust; 41” bottom hem circumference; 36” length.
