1910s Gold-fill mechanical pencil strung on vintage brass boxchain
€30.00
Dainty Edwardian (possibly Victorian) goldtone pencil pendant with engine-turned scribed body. Most likely originally intended to be a fob or for a chatelaine. This tiny mechanical pencil still bears the remnants of lead and should be refillable. I believe it is gold-filled, although it isn’t stamped. The initials “H.F.B.” are impressed on the nib.
Measures: pencil 2 1/4” long x 1/4” wide; chain 40cm long, about 1.5cm wide.
