1970s/1980s RARE sterling silver Children of Lir swan Celtic Revival, Art Nouveau influenced necklace. Made in Ireland.
€101.00
Striking necklace depicting a sinuous swan with wings outspread, likely inspired by the tragic Irish legend telling of four siblings transformed into swans or perhaps by the romance of Aengus and Caer.
Although I have two of these identical necklaces, I have never seen another.
Swan stamped to back “925” and “TJH”. TJH stands for The Jewellery House, an Irish jewellery manufacturer first established in the 1950s.
Excellent vintage condition with no noted flaws.
Measures approximately: pendant 3.8 x 2cm; chains (together) 40cm long; weighs 7g.
