1930s Art Deco rhinestone duet dress-clips/brooch
Glittering brooch, with round and baguette diamanté stones, that converts to two dress clips when frame is removed. The stones really scintillate at night and would be great accessories for an evening wedding or cocktail party.
When not being worn as a brooch, the clips can be used to decorate the edges of a sweater, top, or dress at the neckline, décolletage, or straps, or can be worn on a hat or even in the hair.
With its geometric leanings, I believe this duet dates from the early half of the 1930s.
Rollover clasp to back.
Overall, the duet is in great vintage condition with a few minor flaws: one missing rhinestone (one of the smallest of the round rhinestones), but this is an easy repair; some darkening to another small, round rhinestones but this is not very noticeable; the rest of the rhinestones are all bright and full of sparkle; some light wear to the silver coating, especially at the back of the piece.
Approximate measurements: brooch is 6 x 2cm; weighs 17.2g.
