1940 "Very Simple Frocks" sewing magazine with 2 factory-cut patterns. ORIGINAL (not reproduction).
€0.00
This 16-page (including cover) magazine was issued in January 1940 (Home Fashions, No. 17), just months after the outbreak of WW2, and features a number of illustrations of dresses, plus several interesting advertisements. Printed in monochrome, apart from the covers, which are colour.
Patterns for the two dresses on the cover are included and are complete (as far as I can tell).
In poor condition with some cuts and tears to the cover and some of the pages, and a lot of folds to the pages' corners. The spine's binding is also compromised, but overall, the illustrations internally are still very good references.
Magazine measures 24.5 x 31cm.
