Lovely crucifix with iridescent, sparkling AB crystal glass beads strung on chain links. The Christ figure is brass.

The chain has been repaired (see pic) and three beads are missing to one side; may be in need of further repair in future, but for now the chain is intact. There is also some loss on the cross to the silvertone (see pics).

The leather of the pouch is very supple and strong; its snap closure reads "NEWEY PAT 201430-22” (filed in 1922).

Approximate measurements: pouch 7 x 6.5cm; chain 63cm diameter, an additional 19cm length for medal and crucifix; rosary weighs 34.3g.
