1950s/1960s MCM teak hedgehog toothpick holder with blue bead eyes. Made in Denmark. Gunnar Flørning, Laurids Lonborg, Ernst Henriksen era.
€0.00
Super cute, long-snouted little hedgehog or porcupine teak wood animal that holds 24 toothpicks.
Holds 24 toothpicks and is a good barware or table setting accessory, but also looks great displayed bald, especially with other teak or animal figures.
No stickers or maker’s marks, but this guy was almost certainly made in mid-20th Century Denmark.
In great vintage condition, aside from some glue residue around one of the plastic eyes (may have been reglued in past as the eyes are a little askew…an easy fix if it bothers you!) with no chips or scratches.
Approximate measurements: 8.5 x 4.5 x 4.5cm; 39.8g.
