1960-1962 green and white Pyrex Clover Leaf or Shamrock salad bowl set
Pair of Mid century Pyrex bowls with a clover print (including some lucky four leaf clovers!). The smaller bowel is white with a green print, and the larger has a green exterior with a white print.
These bowls were produced in 1960-1962 and may have originally had a metal rack that kept the smaller bowl hovering above the larger. The larger bowl would have held salad or chips and the smaller dressing or dip. They still work well, even without the rack.
Each bowl has a wider handle to one side, and a narrower one to the other—these can act as pouring spouts, too, as the dishes can also serve as mixing bowls.
The larger, green bowl holds 4.5 pints—it’s in good condition aside from some mottling to the green colour, a small, barely perceptible chip at the rim, near the handle (see pic), and a few tiny nicks to the green enamel; there are also some dark but faint marks to the interior, probably manufacturing flaws.
The white bowl holds 1 pint and is in great condition with just some misprint of the clover print; internally there are also some dark but faint marks, probably manufacturing flaws.
Measure approximately: large bowl 10 1/8” top diameter (not including handles), 13 1/8” width (including handles), 4 1/4” height; small bowl 6” top diameter (not including handles), 7 1/2” width (including handles), 3 1/4” height; weigh 1.85kg.
