Large winter muffler with fringe and hidden, zippered pocket. I believe the fabric is wool, but there are no tags. The addition of the pocket is an unusual one and it makes the perfect spot for stashing a phone, wallet, gloves and/or hat!

Looks to be homemade, probably in the 60s; zipper is nylon with a Talon metal pull. The style of the scarf very much reminds me of the winter mufflers worn in the 1920s (see last pic).

Very faint musty smell to wool, but no holes or stains detected.

Measures: 8.5” wide x 67” long (inclusive of 2.5” fringes); pocket 8.5” x 12”.
