1970s/1980s long, Sterling silver chain with hinged, ball locket pendant. Signed.
€0.00
Sterling silver, cage-style, pendant that can be used to hold a perfume-soaked sponge, a coloured stone/marble, or any other small treasure—even a flower! Strung on a long, medium-weight sterling chain.
This necklace reminds me very much of Rosemary’s tannis root charm necklace in Polanski’s “Rosemary’s Baby” (shown in last two pics)!!
Chain’s clasp is stamped “925”, and the ring beside it is also stamped “925” and additionally has a clover stamp inside which are the letters “IBB” (for International Bullion and Metal Brokers); the pendant also has a “925” stamp to the interior.
Excellent vintage condition with no noted flaws.
Approximate measurements: ball is 3/4” diameter (not including bale), chain is 25.5” long; 10g.
