1980s sterling silver bangle with vines and leaves and a large malachite centerpiece. Poland.

Substantial sterling bangle from the late 80s.

The main part of the bracelet is made up of a tubular piece of silver whose ends bypass each other, and between these ends is suspended a fine, large, oval specimen of green, banded malachite. Twisted around the end pieces and the malachite stone are stylised vines with leaves, possibly ivy.

The bangle is hallmarked to the back of the stone with the symbols for Poland and Sterling Silver “K 925”, as well as “P.” for Poznam (Poland).

Approximate measurements: 2 1/2” internal diameter, 3/16” thick band; stone 1 3/4” x 1”; weighs 23.2g.
