Dainty earrings featuring marcasite flowers set in sterling silver. Marcasite was originally used as an affordable alternative to diamonds, and these little studs glitter accordingly with movement and changing light.

One of the original backings has been lost (I’ve provided a stainless steel replacement), but the other is of an unusual, curved design and has tiny teeth to the edges (see pic); this backing is marked “925”.

The earrings are in great vintage condition with no missing stones or damage.

Approximate measurements 10mm diameter, 5mm thick; weigh 2.8g.
