Unusual, whimsical little tie or lapel pin with a snail enamelled in light turquoise with a shell of palest petal pink. The shell is ridged under the enamel, lending both an air of realism and of depth.

This would look so cute against a botanical or floral print!

I believe the piece is sterling silver, but I have not tested it.

Really stumped about the age of this little pin. My first though was 70s-80s, but it might very well be older.

In good vintage condition, although there is some enamel missing to the snail’s body and some tiny nibbles to the edges of the shell (see pics).

Approximate measurements: 2” long; snail is 1” x 1/2”; weighs 1.6g.
