1940s pale yellow glazed ceramic, two-faced milk pitcher, one side happy the other sad. Made in England by Thomas Cone.

€0.00

Mid Century cream jug with a happy, perhaps drunken(?) face to one side and a scowling face to the other. Nice little thumb indent to top of handle to make for smooth pouring.

Great little vessel for flowers or dried grasses, or use for display on its own.

Bottom of jug is marked: MADE IN ENGLAND, UNDER LICENCE, T CONE”.

Has overall crazing, especially to the interior, which also exhibits some stains; a small fault to glaze near spout (see pics) and some slight rough spots to glaze near top of handle.

Approximate measurements: 5” wide, 4” deep, 3.75” tall.
