1940s-style acrylic blue, white, and red reindeer vest. Made in England. Medium-Large.
€25.00
Fair Isle sweaters surged in popularity in the 1920s when worn by Edward Prince of Wales, and remained popular through the early 1980s. Great for layering in the autumn and winter, this pullover would especially suit the holiday season around Christmas. The yarn colours used give it a 70s-80s vibe, but the it would also suit 40s or 50s outfits.
Label reads: “London/Knitwear Gallery/Vintage & Classic/Made in England".
In great condition with no noted flaws.
The vest is marked a Medium, but there is a good deal of stretch to the garment, and I would say it would be a woman’s Medium-Large or a man’s Small (please see measurements for more info). Measures approximately (laid flat): shoulder-to-shoulder 18”; armpit-to-armpit 23”; length 28”.
