This lovely scarf features a host of sites and archetypal characters of London in vivid greens, reds, blues and clotted creams.
There are a couple of stains (probably from contact with other fabrics) to the centre panel and two of the handrolled hems show signs of unraveling (see pics), but otherwise, this is still a wearable, cheery scarf.
Made by Gallahers of Macclesfield, most likely in the early 50s.
