Older Vera neck scarf with tartan crosshatch pattern in pale blue-grey, mustard yellow, white and black. Most likely made right around the end of WW2, possibly with surplus parachute silk.

Handrolled edges. Original tags missing, but the style of the Vera signature denotes that this was made in the late 40s or early 50s.

In good structural condition but there is a small rectangular stain to one tip (see pic), probably where a sticker lay, and some small brown specks (see pic).

Longest sides measure: 15 1/2” x 16  1/2”.
