1970s-1980s candy coloured, striped shirtwaist dress with cap sleeves. Small.
Bright white poly-cotton shirt dress with vertical, rainbow-hued stripes in turquoise, yellow, purple, magenta, pink, and salmon. A row of turquoise coloured buttons runs the entire length of the dress, allowing it to be completely unbuttoned. One small breast pocket.
Likely dates 1978-1982 (pic of similar Butterick pattern is from 1979).
First tag reads, “Lot 7-8; second tag reads, “50% Polyester/50%Cotton/Machine wash warm water. Tumble or line dry. Cool iron if necessasry. Do not use bleach”.
In excellent, clean vintage condition (looks to have never been worn); missing its belt (both belt loops are fully intact).
Measures approximately: 22” waist unstretched but elastic will stretch to 30” (and perhaps beyond) comfortably; 34” armpit-to-armpit; 43” length.
