This large, handrolled scarf features celebrated Ethiopian artist Afewerk Tekle's 1958 stainglass triptych commissioned for Africa Hall in the United Nations' Economic Commission for Africa.

The colours of this printed silk are vivid, appearing almost as luminous as genuine stainglass.

The scarf in in good vintage condition, apart from a whole to one corner. Made in Addi Ababa.
