Lovely little hourglass with brass case and white sand. Reproductions of this pocket-sized, boatswain’s timer are available, but I believe this is an ORIGINAL, older version, dating from the 60s or earlier. Its rust-proof case makes it an excellent choice for nautical environments, game nights, or for timing eggs in a kitchen!

Top screws off so that glass and rubber pads can be cleaned. No makers marks.

In perfect working order. The piece has been throughly cleaned, but I have left the patina and verdigris intact; could be buffed back to bright gold by buyer, if desired.
